Buglary may have been caught on film

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report Monday morning regarding a burglary at a business on Montana 35 in Evergreen. The front window of the building was broken out, and the manager may have captured evidence on camera.

At another business on Montana 35 in Evergreen, a person reported that a screen was cut out of an office window but it didn’t appear that anybody got into the building.

The county animal warden got a call from a Columbia Falls Stage Road resident who had a skunk in a trap. The man wanted the warden to remove the skunk “because it belongs to the county,” but the warden declined and offered the man some suggestions about how to get the animal out.

A woman calling from Seventh Street West in Hungry Horse reported that someone keyed her vehicle.

There was a report of squatters camping on a private property off U.S. 2 east of Columbia Falls. They were kicked off the property.

A man calling from U.S. 93 south of Whitefish reported the theft of a tool box containing all of his electrical gear.

A woman calling from Primrose Lane reported that when she went to her grandparents’ house to pick up some belongings, her grandfather assaulted her boyfriend with a cane. No one wanted to pursue charges against the grandfather, but the grandfather didn’t want the two returning to his property.
