Apparent hose hater on the loose

Flathead County Sheriff’s deputies received a report of an air hose, garden hose and another hose being cut at a store on U.S. 93 south of Whitefish.

The sheriff’s office got a report Thursday regarding an unlocked vehicle being rifled through, with some items taken, on Righteous Trail in the Marion area.

There was a report of water coming out of a pipe on top of the building at the golf course on Montana 206.

There was a report of a man harassing construction workers on Conrad Point Road in the Lakeside area.

A woman calling from U.S. 2 in the Evergreen area reported that a bag was stolen from her pickup truck.

A person calling from Sunnyside Drive in the Kalispell area reported witnessing a woman steal a bicycle.

There was a report of a child being threatened by another child with a knife at a park near Terry Road.

A backpack containing prescription medication and cash was reportedly stolen from a vehicle on U.S. 2 in the Evergreen area.

A man calling from Ridgewood Drive reported that his girlfriend is being stalked by a man.

A woman calling from Caroline Point Road in the Lakeside area reported that her boyfriend hit her daughter. She didn’t want to press charges, but she wanted him to leave the house.

A person calling from Springwood Lane reported that he had been assaulted by his brother.

There was a report of a man causing a disturbance at a hotel on U.S. 93 in the Whitefish area.

At about 1:50 a.m. Friday, a woman calling from Stoner Creek Road reported that her daughter, who had been drinking, was trying to break into her home.

 

A woman calling from a residence on Ninth Avenue West reported to Kalispell Police Department that a vehicle ran into her garage and took off, caving in the garage door at 4:26 p.m. Thursday.

At 5:26 p.m., a nurse calling from an emergency room on Sunny View Lane told police that a father wanted to file a report that his underage son was drinking within city limits, but was unsure of the address where the drinking took place.

There was a report of a 6- or 7-year-old driving up and down an alley on a four-wheeler between Ninth Street West and Tenth Avenue West Thursday night.

A person calling from North Main Street reported that a large dark brown and black guard dog attacked the reporting party’s dog Thursday afternoon. The caller wasn’t sure the hurt dog would survive. 

A woman calling from U.S. 93 North reported that her husband stole her truck. Although the vehicle was registered to her husband, she said a temporary restraining order says he is not to have the truck.

Chickens were reported stolen by a woman calling from Second Avenue East North.

At 12:43 p.m. Friday, a man calling from Second Street East reported that an employee he was in the process of terminating was making threats toward him and his wife.

 

Whitefish Police Department responded to a vehicle hit-and-run on East Fourth Street Friday.
