Bettye Kathryn Adams, 87

Bettye Kathryn Adams, 87, passed away on Oct. 4, 2012, at Edgewood Vista in Kalispell. 

Bettye was born July 2, 1925, in Jonesboro, Ark., and was the oldest of seven children. 

Bettye married Lt. Col. G.J. “Skip” Adams in 1946. 

Bettye was a registered nurse. She worked as an office nurse in Kalispell, and in geriatric care both in Kalispell and Great Falls. 

She was preceded in death by her husband in 2000. 

Three children and there spouses mourn her loss, Cindy Davis and husband Britt of Sand Coulee, Barbara Adams and husband Doug of Kalispell, and John Adams and wife Judy of Bozeman. Bettye is also survived by nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; and four siblings. 

The family plans a private gathering to celebrate Bettye’s life. Buffalo Hill Funeral Home and Crematory is caring for the family.
