Joan Kostelecky, 72

Joan “went to be with her loving husband whom she cherished deeply” Oct. 9, 2012. 

She was born Sept. 15, 1940, in Boulder, Colo., where she grew up.

She eventually moved to Montana in the early ’70s where she raised her four children and was an office manager for First Student bus service for a number of years. 

Joan was hard working and fun loving. She was known for the parrots and her two dogs.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ben; brother, Terry; and her sons, Dale and Larry.

She is survived by her daughters, Beth and Ron, and Tana and Michael; and many grand- and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all.

Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 15, at Smith West Chapel in Billings. Interment will be at Terrace Gardens Cemetery in Billings. Cremation has taken place.
