Boo humbug! Halloween grinches swipe decor

A person calling Columbia Falls Police from View Drive Sunday reported that Halloween decorations had been stolen from the lawn, and it wasn’t the first time it has happened.

A man claiming to be a psychic called from Ninth Street West to report that he was aware of a man in pickup truck who had something to do with the abduction of a Kalispell woman. He said a hovering spaceship abducted the woman.

 

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report Sunday from a man who said when he left his church on West Reserve Drive, he found a rock on the front seat and a window broken out.

A man calling from U.S. 2 West of Kalispell reported that someone driving a white crew cab pickup truck pulled into his driveway and shot a deer. When the caller went out Sunday morning, he found the dead deer.

A man calling from East Lakeshore Drive in Whitefish reported  watching a jet ski drifting out on Whitefish Lake for about a half hour. It was unclear if the watercraft was stolen or had become unmoored.

There was a call from a Highway Patrol trooper requesting assistance with a man who was punching the window of his vehicle after being pulled over on Kuhns Road in the Whitefish area.

There was a report of six or more mailboxes being vandalized on Winterhawk Drive in the Bigfork area.

There was a report regarding an out-of-control teenage girl on Whitefish Hills Drive.

A man called to report that employees at his contracting business on U.S. 2 East found a gate open at the business and the doors of vehicles at the business open as well. It was unclear if anything was taken.

 

Whitefish Police got a visit Sunday from a person who reported finding 20 packs of opened cold medicine at the end of Texas Avenue.

The manager of a bar on Central Avenue reported that a man who had been kicked out of the bar had returned. He said the unwanted man appeared to be incoherent and on drugs.

 

A man calling Kalispell Police from a pawn shop on Eighth Avenue East Sunday reported that he located an iPod stolen from his truck, but he had yet to report it stolen because he just realized it had been.

A woman calling from Jackson Peak Drive reported that she was given black eye by her boyfriend.

After getting a call regarding an intoxicated man in a vehicle at a parking lot on East Idaho, the man was arrested for drunk driving.

At about 1:40 a.m. Monday, a security guard calling from Sunny View Lane reported seeing people going through cars in a parking lot.

There was a report of catalytic converters stolen from two vehicles on Sixth Avenue West North.

There was a report of a man refusing to leave the restroom at a restaurant on East Idaho. The man was told he had to leave.

 

Lake County Sheriff’s deputies arrested somebody for partner-family member assault on St. Marys Drive Sunday.

Someone was arrested drunk driving at a grocery store on U.S. 93.
