Bigfork museum members wanted for show

Artists interested in entering the Bigfork Museum of Art and History’s 2012 Holiday Members Art Show and Sale have a little over a month to get their submissions ready.

Members may submit their entries from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 1.

The show is open to current museum members. Artists in all media, including but not limited to oil, watercolor, fiber, batik, silk, wood, clay and bronze are welcome to participate.

Anyone can become a member and participate in the show. Membership fees are $40.

Those who want to be in the show must pay a $10 fee for up to four entries. The museum will receive 40 percent of all sales.

If works are not for sale, an additional $5 will be assessed.

The members show is the last show of 2012 and is a favorite among the holiday crowds. The show will run from Dec. 7 through Dec. 29. A reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Dec. 7.
