Deputies make several arrests

Flathead County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested several people between Tuesday and Wednesday:

— A drunk man was arrested after he held a screwdriver to his girlfriend’s head on Cascade Avenue in Bigfork.

—A man was arrested for driving without a license on Crestview Drive in Bigfork.

—A motorist was arrested on a warrant on Ninth Street West in Columbia Falls.

—A person was arrested following a drunken fight between a mother and daughter on First Street West in Martin City.

—A woman was arrested after a domestic dispute on East Evergreen Drive.

In other reports:

An inquisitive Conrad Drive resident called to ask what the best way was to prove her boyfriend was using drugs.

A Shelter Valley Drive woman reported her boyfriend stole their car and sold it for drug money in November of last year.

A pair of young potheads were seen smoking a bong while they ran a red light on U.S. 93 South in Whitefish.

A Brookside Trail resident reported someone pried off the lock and hinge from their garage door.

Someone broke a window on a truck on U.S. 2 East in Kalispell and stole a black bag with a .22-caliber Ruger and ammunition inside.

A Hubbart Dam Road home in Marion was damaged and items stolen.

An all-terrain vehicle was stolen on Jellison Lane in Columbia Falls.

Several items were stolen from a trailer on Shady Lane.


 

The Kalispell Police Department received several reports of suspicious activity and related thefts from vehicles in the area of Second Avenue West North and elsewhere.

At 2:54 a.m. Wednesday, a resident told police someone was in the area checking door handles, because the person saw a vehicle on Second Avenue West North with the door left open. That vehicle did appear to have been gone through when police investigated.

 A wallet and a Social Security card were stolen from a vehicle on Second Avenue East North and a video camera was left behind.

A pair of fishing poles, cords and an ice scraper were stolen from a locked vehicle on Second Avenue East North.

A woman was surprised when she saw a man walk out of the garage of her First Avenue West home, jump the fence and walk off. She believed he had been there for more than an hour.

A vehicle was burglarized on East California Street.

A set of golf clubs were stolen from the trunk of a vehicle on Seventh Avenue West

A pharmacist contacted police after someone brought down a patient’s cannabis cookies. The pharmacist said she couldn’t store them there and wanted them picked up.

An area supervisor for a chain of gas stations reported a person was selling drugs inside and outside of the business.

A neighbor intent on making his victim annoyed apparently stole the caps off the valve stems of the victim’s tires on Airport Road.

A pair of young vandals were reported driving onto other people’s properties and damaging fences on Stillwater Road.


 

A group of five sneaky teens were reported to the Whitefish Police Department for using drugs near East Second Street.

A pontoon boat with dreams of open water broke free from a dock off Jennings Lakeside Road.

A phantom smoker left behind a pile of cigarette butts near the porch of a Portage Way home, but there was no evidence that the person broke in.


 

A black Labrador looking for a new outlook on life was reported to the Columbia Falls Police Department after it climbed onto the roof of a Darlene Road home.

A C Street East North woman called to get help finding out who let her dogs out.

Someone shot out a window at a business on Fifth Street West.
