Free photography class at Powder Horn Trading Co.

Artists have an opportunity to learn how to best photograph their work at a Friday seminar and reception with a professional photographer.

Jack DeWitt will speak about his work and demonstrate techniques other artists can use to showcase their products at a free event at Powder Horn Trading Co., 2025 U.S. 2 E., Kalispell. The discussion runs from 7 to 9 p.m.

DeWitt has been a published professional photographer for 12 years. He exhibits at shows and markets around the Northwest and also has a popular series of photo bead cards available at Powder Horn Trading Co.

Those who attend the talk will receive printed information they can take home to help them better shoot their art work. DeWitt will also have props on hand to demonstrate the photographic process.

Attendees should bring their own cameras.
