Bowhunter might be hallucination

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office heard Sunday from a man who claimed there was a suspicious man bowhunting in his neighborhood in the First Street West North area of Columbia Falls. No bowhunter could be located, and after the reporting party admitted he might have been having hallucinations, he was arrested on warrants.

There was a report of an unwanted, suspicious man refusing to leave a hotel on U.S. 93 South. The man was given a ride to another location.

There was a report of a suspicious man walking down the middle of U.S. 93 north of Kalispell. He was picked up and taken to another location.

A woman calling from Haskill Basin Road said she heard suspicious noises outside her home Saturday night. Sunday morning, she discovered that a fire escape was tampered with and a screen on a window had been cut, but apparently no entry was made to the residence.

There was a a report of locks being cut on a building on Ninth Street West in the Columbia Falls area, but it was unclear if anything was stolen.

A woman reported that jewelry was stolen from her residence on East Oregon Street. The woman said she had located the jewelry at a Kalispell area pawn shop.

A man calling from U.S. 2 West of Kalispell said he was notified by hunters that there are squatters on his property.

A landlord calling from a Foothill Road address reported a renter who is verbally threatening to burn down his place because of a pending eviction.

There was a report of a man driving onto a field on Wolf Creek Drive in the Bigfork area and taking out a fence in the process.

A man called Kalispell Police Sunday from Two Mile Drive to report that he accidentally got onto a porn site on his computer. Because the site locked up his computer and he said he thought law enforcement was involved. 

The topper on a pickup truck was broken into on First Avenue East; nothing was taken.

A lawn mower was stolen from a garage on First Avenue East.

At a nearby address on First Avenue East, there was a report of an air compressor and lawn care tools being stolen from an unlocked garage.

There was a report of a verbal disturbance between a man and woman on Airport Road.

A woman reported that items were stolen from her carport and vehicle on 10th Street East.

A woman calling from Third Street West reported that her roommate stole a laptop and her boyfriend’s wallet as she was moving out. 

There was a report of the back window of a vehicle being broken out and a purse being stolen on Hutton Ranch Road.

Also on Hutton Ranch Road, items were stolen from another locked vehicle.

Monday morning, there was a report of a vehicle striking a bicyclist at First Avenue East and Center Street. The bike rider said she was fine and didn’t want medical attention. 

Vehicles and a boat were vandalized on South Main Street.

A man called from Helena to report that his girlfriend had located his stolen iPod at a Kalispell pawn shop.
