The tortoise meets the hare in MCT play at West Glacier

West Glacier Elementary, in conjunction with Missoula Children’s Theatre, will perform “The Tortoise Versus The Hare” at the school Friday.

The play begins at 6 p.m.

Missoula Children’s Theatre has been working with students all week to pull the show together. West Glacier is able to bring this opportunity to its students due to a grassroots effort by parents.

Admission is $5 per person or $15 per family at the door.

West Glacier Elementary students are also selling raffle tickets for a variety of items. The tickets are $10 each or three for $25. Tickets will be sold the night of the production with the drawing immediately after.

 The items donated are garnered by an ad hoc committee of parents and community members. This money not only pays for the children’s theater production but also helps support other student activities throughout the year.
