| October 31, 2012 7:30 PM

Whitefish High School Drama presents “The Match Maker” by Thornton Wilder Nov. 8-10 at the Whitefish Performing Arts Center.

Wealthy Yonkers store owner Horace Vandergelder (Jon Weaver) orchestrates the affairs of his niece, Ermengarde (Michaela Dooley), with the help of his housekeeper (Tavia Wood). Horace refuses to allow Ermengarde to wed artist Ambrose Kemper (Che Roussel), but his own love life is also a mess. When he employs matchmaker Dolly Levi (Kelsey McFeeley) to find him a wife, Dolly arranges for Horace to meet New York milliner Irene Molloy (Hanna Lewis), even though she secretly intends to marry him herself.

The play features a vast cast of characters, more than a little pandemonium and a hilarious conclusion.

Show time is 7 p.m. all three nights. The play is directed by Kelliann Blackburn, assisted by Wendy McFadden.

The entire show is student-run, with Eric Weaver and Abigail Blake as student directors, Spencer Hale working on marketing and media, Waylon Roberts as technical director, Spenser Eaton and Michael Voisin running lights, and Zach Blumhardt and Jordan Brist running sound.

Backstage during the show are managers Holden Roberts and Dave Kaushik, set and prop organizers Kaela Metcalfe and Dylan Eve, and costume girls Katie Green, Megan Nielson and Gwen Meske.

Tickets are available at the door for $5 for students or $8 for adults.
