Museum to show Fab Four in classic film
The Museum at Central School’s Historic Film Club screens “A Hard Day’s Night” at 7 p.m. Monday.
The Beatles' first movie — a groundbreaking comedy often considered director Richard Lester’s best film — chronicles a "typical" day in their lives, filled with frenzied fans, crazy relatives and a soundtrack of familiar songs. The film defined the Beatles' impish appeal, and John, Paul, George and Ringo are surprisingly assured on-screen.
Songs include "Can't Buy Me Love," "And I Love Her" and "I Should Have Known Better."
The 1964 movie is 92 minutes long and is rated G.
Anyone may attend, and there is no charge. Donations will be accepted to help defray the cost of acquiring and showing the films.
Popcorn is free, and wine, beer, pop and water will be for sale.
Seating is provided, but people may also bring their own floor pillows, portable chairs or whatever is comfortable for viewing the film.
The Museum at Central School is located at 124 Second Ave. E. in Kalispell. Call 756-8381 for more information.
