Mormon church hosts Christmas celebration

Kalispell’s Mormon church hosts a two-day multidenominational Community Christmas Celebration today and Thursday.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, located at 1380 Whitefish Stage Road, offers two days of music and more at its fifth annual event. The celebration includes hundreds of Nativity collections from around the world and Christmas music performances by several local groups.

The event runs from 5 to 9 p.m. today and from 1 to 9 p.m. Friday.

The music schedule is as follows:

 

Thursday

5 p.m. — Flathead High School choir and sing-along

6 p.m. — Livingston Family Singers

6:30 p.m. — Ryan and Justin Pitts

7 p.m. — Whitefish High School’s Voce Primo Choir

7:30 p.m. — Alina and Rebecca Ontiveros

8 p.m. — Glacier High School choirs

 

Friday

5 p.m. — Connie Frank, harp soloist

6 p.m. — Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theatre Choir

6:30 p.m. — Flathead Valleyaires

7 p.m. — The Headwaters Ensemble

7:30 p.m. — Tia and Kyla Bohne

8 p.m. — Violinist Wai Mizutani and friends
