Alpine Theatre Project is bringing its 10th annual holiday concert, “Yuletide Affair X,” to the Whitefish Performing Arts Center Dec. 21 and 22.

The show starts both nights at 7 p.m.

Begun in 2004, “Yuletide Affair” has become a popular holiday tradition for the Whitefish-based professional theater company. It has sold out almost every performance in its decade-long history.

The holiday concert features classic and contemporary Christmas songs as well as a healthy dose of satire and comedic sketches poking fun at the year that was both locally and nationally.

“It’s the holiday season, so we want to give everyone a lot of warm, fuzzy feelings,” Alpine Theatre Project artistic director Betsi Morrison said. “However, we want everyone to also have a great time and laugh.”

As is tradition with the “Yuletide Affair,” Morrison has invited a slate of singers and instrumentalists from across the country to join in the fun.

Featured artists include:

• Eden Atwood — former Concord label recording artist and Montana’s leading jazz chanteuse

• Amelia Cormack — Australian recording artist and actor; featured in the original Australian and West End casts of “Priscilla Queen of the Desert”

• Eric Michael Krop — from Broadway’s “Godspell”; last seen in Alpine Theatre’s “Defying Gravity” concert this summer

• Susan O’Dea — New York actress last seen in Alpine Theatre’s “Hedwig and the Angry Inch” in 2012

• Rebecca Spear — recurring Alpine Theatre actress last seen in “Some Enchanted Evening”

• Aaron Vega — New York actor last seen in Alpine Theatre’s “Yuletide Affair 9” and “Little Shop of Horrors”

• Virginia Woodruff — from Broadway productions of “Smokey Joe’s Cafe,” “Leap of Faith” and “The Color Purple”; last seen in Alpine Theatre’s “Defying Gravity” concert

Also featured will be jazz instrumentalists and composers Rob Mosher, Rob Fahie and Erica Von Kleist, as well as Billy Thompson on piano.

Tickets to the show are $39 and can be purchased by visiting atpwhitefish.org or calling 862-SHOW.
