Class B football: Trent: 2 TD passes; Ibach: 1 scoring run

BILLINGS — Bigfork quarterback Colter Trent passed for two touchdowns in the second quarter and Eureka running back Chis Ibach ripped off a 48-yard touchdown run in the third quarter as the North rolled over the South 48-27 on Saturday in the 25th annual Big Sky Class B All-Star football game at Rocky Mountain College.

Trent hit Dalton Brookie, a wide receiver from Malta, on a 19-yard scoring strike and followed that with a 32-yard TD pass to Aaron Ward from Florence.

Ward, who also played quarterback, connected with Keden Bedwell on a 59-yard TD pass for the North’s first points in the opening quarter.

The North, up 27-14 at the half, now leads the all-time series, 13-12.

Forsyth quarterback Blake Schwagler had touchdown passes of 70 and 18 yards for the South.

Highlights

Dalton Brookie (North) and Nate Howell (South) were named Offensive MVPs ... Tyler Ollinger (North) and Trace Roundtree took home Defensive MVP honors … David Williams (South) and Kaden Bedwell (North) were named recipients of a scholarship.
