Dream Dancers Dance Studio swept up at their recent dance competition, Kids Artistic Revue, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Dancers came home with eight first-place, 20 top first-place and two elite top first-place awards, as well as 18 overall high point winners having the highest score in their category.

Top performers included Libby Proctor’s solo winning first high point overall; Irie Long, second overall; Sarah Randolph, fourth overall; and Seonna Lamoreaux, sixth overall.

Lamoreaux, Long, Randolph and Nicole Bergeson also received an elite top first and seventh overall with a jazz dance to “Footloose.”

Proctor, Ashley Knoll, Bailey Lake, Hailey Byers and Lizzy Randolph received a first place high score overall for “Little Hip Hoppers.” They also brought home six All Star Awards, getting a special invitation to New York to study in some dance workshops.

“Just Dance,” a jazz dance, received the “Jazz Pazzaz” judges’ choice award and “Yolo” received the SwagAlicous judges’ choice award.

Lexie Proctor won Ms. Photogenic in the 12- to 19-year-old category. The mother-daughter group “Bad Mamas” won a top first place for a version of Michael Jackson’s “Bad.”

“This is the biggest win my dance studio has had in 11 years,” said director/teacher Heidi Long. Sadie Anderson also choreographed some award-winning routines. All the routines qualified for Nationals in Las Vegas in July.
