Fence fight leads to heated threats

The Kalispell Police Department got a report Tuesday from a Second Avenue West resident who said his neighbor threatened to beat his face in, apparently because of a dispute over a fence.

A Canvasback Court resident said she believes her home was broken into while she was gone for the day, but nothing was taken.

There was a report of a man with a bicycle lying near a store parking lot on Third Avenue East North.

A Seventh Avenue West resident said there was a man in her back yard looking through her window.

A man calling from Third Avenue West said another man grabbed him by the hair and hit him in the face because he was angry and upset.

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report Tuesday about a commercial boat being broken into near Grand Drive in Bigfork, but it was unclear if anything was stolen.

A man calling from Central Avenue in Martin City said that his grandson’s bicycle was stolen out of a yard recently.

There was a report of a green Ford Explorer being burned in a gravel pit in the Hungry Horse area, and it is possible the vehicle had been stolen.

Early Wednesday, at about 12:30 a.m., there was a report of a very intoxicated man beating his wife on Elk Park Road in the Columbia Falls area. The man left but later returned and broke a bedroom door. He left again and could not be located.

Whitefish Police got another call Tuesday morning regarding a large black bear that has been eating fruit in the Iowa Avenue area.

There was a report of a theft from a vehicle on Flathead Avenue.

A transient reportedly was acting weird, dancing around and doing Kung Fu moves in a business parking lot on U.S. 2 South. He was advised to move on because he was doing his moves on private property.
