Wilderness group brings film festival to C. Falls, Whitefish

On Oct. 26, the Flathead/Kootenai Chapter of the Montana Wilderness Association will present the annual Wild and Scenic Film Festival at the O’Shaughnessy Center in Whitefish.

Feature films include “Eyes in Forest,” “The Return,” “In the Same Boat,” “Denali Experiment” and a couple of fun short films.

The film festival will begin at 7 p.m. Beer and wine will be served, and the event will include raffle prizes and a silent auction

Doors open at 6 p.m.

The Wild and Scenic Film Festival will also come to Columbia Falls at 2 p.m. Oct. 27. The festival will take place at the Teakettle Community Hall. Doors open at 1 p.m.

Tickets for both the Saturday night show and the Sunday matinee are $10 at the door.
