Cheryl 'Sheri' Lynn (Southworth) Johnson, 52
Beloved wife, daughter, mother and grandmother, Mrs. Sheri Lynn (Southworth) Johnson, 52, passed away peacefully at home after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, April 14, 2014.
She was born on April 25, 1961, in Escondido, Calif., to Gerald and Bonnie (Petersen) Southworth.
Sheri worked in the offices at Betten Chevrolet for more than 14 years. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, sewing, golfing, fishing and gardening. Sheri was a member of Shiloh Tabernacle.
On Nov. 18, 1995, she married Jeffrey Johnson, and he survives her along with her daughter, Andrea and Chris Anderson of Fruitport; two grandchildren, Paxton and Harper; her mother, Bonnie (Rick) Billuni of Whitefish; and her father, Gerald and Jeani Southworth of Vancouver, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Gerald Southworth Jr.
A memorial service celebrating Sheri’s life will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 19 at Shiloh Tabernacle, 460 E. Tyler Road, Muskegon, Mich., with Pastor Verne Wright officiating. A luncheon will follow.
Her sweet soul, quick smile, helping hand and humor will be sadly missed, but forever in our hearts. “Life is but a moment in the infinity of time, but what a precious moment to those who love and care.”
