Zinke's record is not conservative

Republicans: vote for the candidate with the best R voting record.

I’m hoping other people have noticed that newspaper articles about Ryan Zinke’s campaign don’t mention his voting record as a Montana senator. The focus is how much money he’s raised and his prior history as a Navy SEAL.

There’s a reason his promoters don’t mention his voting record. He voted with the Democrats when he voted for every government spending increase during his tenure as senator, voted for unprecedented eminent domain rights, and he has the most anti-business development record of any Montana Republican (see montanaontheissues.com).

In 2009, he was one of two Montana senators with the most positive rating by NARAL (National Abortion Rights Action League) Prochoice America. You cannot be pro-life and get a good rating from NARAL. Most of our state Republican legislators get a zero rating from them.

Mr. Zinke’s opponent Matt Rosendale, on the other hand, has voted against spending increases and is the only candidate to cut millions of dollars from the state budget. Those cuts translate into tax relief for us. He has an A rating from the NRA to show his support for gun rights, and 100 percent rating from the United Property Owners of Montana for his work to protect our property rights.  He has 100 percent from the Montana Family Foundation (which means zero from NARAL) and a perfect pro-life voting record.

A vote for Matt Rosendale is a vote for a real Republican, who has a documented voting record to prove it.
