| October 9, 2014 4:45 PM

On Oct. 9, 2014, Gail Jochen “was gracefully received into the blessed arms of her Lord” after a brief but pain-free fight with cancer.

She was born Gail Mae Clair on Nov. 28, 1938, to parents Stephen Sneath Clair and Ethel Lenheart Clair in Philadelphia.

Gail had worked for 15 years for the YMCA building the model United Nations program.

Gail was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Stephen Jr.; and her daughter, Kathleen.

She is survived by her son, David, his wife Jessica and their three children, Curtis, Stephen and Lauren, of Bigfork; and also by her longtime friend and dear part of the Jochen family, Dr. E. Jane Ruprecht.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 12, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Bigfork.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Wounded Warrior Project and/or the YMCA Central Area Youth Fund, 609-219-1800, in honor of Gail.
