The Flathead Bravettes cross country team dominated the Glacier Invite at Kidsports Complex on Wednesday to take home the team title.

Flathead had the top-three individual finishers led by Kaitline Wride. Wride finished the three-mile race in a time of 18 minutes, 27 seconds. She beat teammate Lauren Clark by four seconds for the individual crown.

Glacier’s Bailey Smith, 18:59, came in fourth and was the Wolfpack’s highest finisher.

Corrine Hamilton was the Wolfpack’s second-highest placer. Hamilton crossed the finish line in seventh place with a time of 19.46. Teammate Miranda Champion rounded out the top-ten with time of 19:56.

The boys race was closer, though Glacier pulled away for the win. Brock Sandry won the race as the Wolfpack’s top runner, and teammates Ruben Castren and Logan Harmon rounded out the top-five for Glacier.

Flathead top finisher, Jacob Calles, came in second. The Braves also got a third-place finish from Jake Perriln.

Both Glacier and Flathead had total control of the event. The visiting Cut Bank and North Toole cross country team failed to place in the top-ten.
