Couple offers drugs for room
A couple knocked on a West Cottonwood Drive door early Tuesday morning and asked the resident if they could spend the night, and said they could pay the resident with drugs, according to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office.
A small black bear was spotted near Columbia Falls on U.S. 2 East on Monday night.
Four horses were seen running loose on East Edgewood Drive on Monday morning.
A Columbia Falls man called police saying that he’s having trouble with his neighbor, who comes out of his house on Sawbuck Trail and urinates in front of the neighbors. The man said he’d tried talking to the neighbor about his behavior in the past, but he tells him to “Go screw himself.”
A Kalispell man reported that he believed his shotgun may have been stolen from a game preserve on the north end of Flathead Lake. Shortly after he reported it missing, a different man called the sheriff’s office to report having found a rifle in the hunting area. It was returned to the owner.
A man called police Monday saying that he let a man named “Pete” use his shop on East Cottonwood Drive and that “Pete” owed him money, but had skipped town. The man also believed that “Pete” stole $250 and a cell phone from him.
A concerned citizen called police Monday to report a woman who was camping near U.S. 93 South in Whitefish. The caller said he believed the woman was “entertaining males for pay during the evening hours.”
A Kalispell business on U.S. 2 East reported that three cans of Mike’s Hard Lemonade and three bags of Smokers Best tobacco were stolen on Saturday.
A reckless driver was reported Monday afternoon on Ninth Street West in Columbia Falls. The caller said that he almost ran him off the road.
A pink and white girls bicycle was reported stolen from Mission Trail in Kalispell.
A local bank reported check fraud.
A Kalispell man reported that a coworker of his has a “strange fixation” on his wife and children and wanted to speak to a deputy about him.
A woman was arrested after stealing oxycodone pills from another woman in Somers on Monday. evening.
The Kalispell Police Department received a call from a very angry woman who said she’s disabled and was unable to park in the handicap spot because it was blocked Monday.
