Nora Jean Brown, 79

Nora Jean Brown, 79, passed away at Lake View Health Care on Sept. 30, 2014. 

Nora was born in Anderson, Mo., to John and Ina Smith.

Nora spent most of her working career as a dog groomer. She liked to paint and go camping. She loved her family and spent as much time with them as possible. Nora also enjoyed living in Ptarmigan Village during her retirement.

Nora was preceded in death by her parents, John and Ina Smith; and her husband, Louis Brown.

She is survived by her children, Rick Hamilton and wife, Debra, of Bigfork; and Don Hamilton of Chataroy, Wash.; her sister, Irene Schuchardt of Port Angeles, Wash.; her grandchildren, Teah, Jim, Katie, Jessica and Tommie; and great-grandchild, Keegan.

Services for Nora will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1, at the Church of Creston. A potluck reception will be held following the service at the church.
