Police field call for man without pants

The Kalispell Police Department received an indecent exposure call Wednesday when a man was seen in a park reading a magazine with his pants down. 

A woman stole food from a location on First Avenue East North. 

A man called from North Meridian Road to report his live-in girlfriend for having marijuana and a pipe. Dispatch received two other calls from that residence Wednesday, and police advised the couple that theirs was a civil issue. 

A rifle with a scope was reported stolen out of a vehicle on Rosewood Drive. 

An employee at a mall called for officers to do a sweep of the location and “get all the crack heads out of there,” on Wednesday. 

A good samaritan turned in a found purse. 

A man who was acting strange and talking to himself approached a woman’s husband on Three Mile Drive trying to sell him “a can of something” Wednesday night. 

A woman had trouble getting rid of her intoxicated ex-boyfriend Wednesday night on Second Street West. 

A woman called to say all of her prescription medications had been stolen from a location on U.S. 93 North. 

Four panhandlers were advised to move along from Hutton Ranch Road yesterday.


The Lake County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest on criminal trespassing charges after receiving a disorderly conduct call from 22nd Avenue West on Wednesday. 


Whitefish Police were called to a U.S. 93 South location where two people were sleeping on the sidewalk Wednesday. 

A man was reported for acting strange inside a Central Avenue business. He was reportedly making other customers uncomfortable by “ranting about religious things.” 

A bear was reported knocking over trash cans in the Hazel Place area early Thursday morning. 

A taxi driver called police after the people he had given a ride to refused to pay. 

A woman called to report a stolen gun from a U.S. 93 South location. 

A Samsung tablet was reported stolen from a Baker Avenue location. 


Columbia Falls Police were called when a student was being disorderly on the school bus, reportedly using profanity toward the younger children. 

A man called from Talbot Road after another man had attempted to enter his house through a sliding glass door Wednesday. When the homeowner confronted him, the man said he thought the house was for rent, and left in a hurry. 


A man called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office to report a motorcyclist that speeds by his house at speeds of 100 miles per hour every day near Lakeside. 

A woman had to barricade a bunch of loose sheep on Montana 35 near Bigfork. 

Drug paraphernalia was found on the end of a man’s driveway on Dillon Road and he requested officers pick it up on Wednesday morning. 

A set of patio furniture was reported stolen from Shady Lane. 

A caller claimed that people were smoking drugs in a vehicle on Anderson Lane, and dealing drugs from the same location. Officers didn’t find any suspects. 

A woman accidentally dialed 911 when trying to connect a new phone. She did advise dispatch that if any other calls came in from that number, they are “probably real because her sister is coming down off of drugs.” 

An injured dog that looked to be hit by a vehicle on U.S. 2 East was taken to the vet who determined the animal had been shot with bird shot. 

A house on Foys Canyon Road was broken into and cash was reported missing. 

A father found a soda can that had been used for smoking marijuana, presumably by his son. 

A man at a Bigfork bar was threatening the bartender and then went outside and tried to fight anyone that came near him early Thursday morning.
