Follower from bar rips off group

A person called the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office Sunday to report that a man followed the reporting party and friends home from a bar, but he didn’t turn out to be a good guest. The man was suspected of stealing cash, iPads, an iPod, two or three phones, two wallets and sunglasses, and he tore up several passports.

A clerk called from a store on Montana 35 in Evergreen to report a belligerent man who was calling her filthy names. The man was later contacted by phone and advised to never return to that store.

There was a report of a padlock being broken on a garage, and someone gained entry to the building on Park Avenue near Whitefish, but apparently nothing was stolen.

Someone reported that items were stolen from a vehicle on Shadow Lane.

A person calling from Bear Trail near Whitefish reported that someone tried to throw a rock through a vehicle window.

Someone calling from Seville Lane in Coram reported that a four wheeler and a dirt bike were stolen from a barn sometime over the last week.

A person calling from McGregor Lane near Marion reported that a trailer and a shed were broken into, but it was unclear if anything was stolen.

Someone reported the theft of a welder from a shop on Sixth Street West in Hungry Horse.

A man called from Somers Road to report that had been slapped and punched by his fiancé.

Just before midnight, a woman called from Second Street West in Hungry Horse to report that there were drunk people arguing in her driveway. She said she didn’t know who they were and when she confronted them they yelled at her and then left. 

A man calling Kalispell Police from Sixth Avenue East Saturday said his neighbor tried to run him over with a vehicle.

There was a report of two mountain bikes being stolen from a house on Fifth Avenue East North.

There was a report of an intoxicated man walking into traffic on West Idaho Street.

Someone reported that kids were throwing rocks at passing vehicles in the Woodland Park area. It turned out they were throwing crab apples, and they were warned to stop it.

Sunday, at about 1:30 a.m., there was a report of two women having a fist fight outside a bar on U.S. 93 South. The call resulted in a man getting cited, and then being permanently kicked out of the bar.

A mountain bike was stolen from a location on Hutton Ranch Road.

A desk clerk at a hotel on U.S. 93 South reported there was a naked woman in a hallway banging on people’s doors. The woman made it back to her room and got dressed. She was warned that she would be kicked out if there were any further complaints.

A woman calling from Fifth Avenue West said a man was trying to  break into her front door. It turned out he thought he was trying to get into his house, but he was on the wrong block.

A Fourth Avenue East resident reported that a house window had been shot out, probably by a BB gun.

Monday, at about 6 a.m., an Airport Road resident requested help with a neighbor who bangs on the reporting party’s door constantly.

A person calling from a business on Third Avenue East reported ongoing theft involving an employee and a friend of the employee.

An electrician calling from Treeline Road reported the theft of copper wire from a job site.

A man calling Whitefish Police Sunday reported that someone pulled a spark plug off his motorcycle while it was parked behind a Central Avenue bar.

Several items were reported stolen from a vehicle on East Third Street.

Someone reported the theft of a cell phone from a restaurant on Central Avenue.

The owner of a taxi business called Columbia Falls Police Sunday to report that he has been harassed by people involved with a competing taxi business.
