Whitefish boys, girls win golf titles; Schulz, Cielak medalists
LIBBY — Whitefish nearly swept all the honors at the Libby Invitational golf tournament on Friday at Cabinet View Golf Club.
Whitefish easily won the boys and girls team titles and had the girls medalist in Coral Schulz, who shot a 78 to finish eight shots better than teammate, and runner-up, Katie Fyall.
Libby’s Jonny Cielak was the boys medalist with his round of 77. He finished three shots ahead of Cole Turgeon of Whitefish.
Libby’s Lily Feeback, 93, had the third best score for girls while Kyle McNew and Luke Adamson both shot 84 to tie for third in boys play.
