Women beg for personal care items
Two women were seen sitting at the corner of East 13th Street with a sign that said “Need tampons and chocolate” on Friday, according to the Whitefish Police Department.
A man called from Saint Moritz Drive to report that a vehicle had followed him home Thursday night. He also had medication stolen from him a couple of weeks ago and believed the two were connected.
A small child, approximately two years old, was found wandering on Flathead Avenue by herself. Someone brought her to the police department, where she was reunited with her mother.
Kalispell Police Department received a call from Fifth Avenue East North when a man’s neighbor told him that two men with flashlights had been looking around his property the night before around 3 a.m. The men took off running when the neighbor spotted them, he said.
People were reported for smoking marijuana at a Fifth Avenue East location Friday.
A woman was reported on South Main Street for either “having a medical issue or a drug problem.” The woman was shaking, not very responsive and not making eye contact, and also had a small child with her in a stroller.
A couple of men were seen speeding through a North Main Street parking lot Friday evening. When the caller approached the vehicle, the driver had a bong in his lap.
The front windows and door of a South Main Street business were smeared with excrement sometime Friday night.
A reckless driver was spotted speeding through the neighborhood Friday on Buffalo Stage. The caller spoke with the driver, who “didn’t seem to care.”
