Softball: Loggers blank Whitefish

LIBBY — Hannah England and Staci Regh combined on a no-hitter and Devon Gallagher homered twice and drove in eight runs as Libby crushed Whitefish 26-0 in Northwestern A softball play Tuesday afternoon.

Gallagher, 4-for-4, homered in the first inning with two on over the center-field fence. She came right back with an inside-the-park home run in the second inning with one runner aboard.

Gallagher added a triple and single.

Abby Ennenga also had a hot bat for the Loggers, going 3-for-3 and driving in three runs. She doubled, along with Rachel Rebo, who had four RBIs, and Jordan Turner.

Regh tripled.

Libby (2-0 overall) rolled up 11 runs in the first inning and added seven more in the second.

England finished with three strikeouts and Regh had two.
