Golf: Emslie places at Plains Invite

PLAINS — Augie Emslie was the lone top-10 finisher for the Bigfork Vikings at the Plains Invitational golf tournament on Saturday.

Emslie shot an 86 for ninth place. The Vikings placed fifth in the team standings with a score of 374.

Eureka was sixth with 411.

On the girls side, Eureka placed fourth, shooting 518, paced by Nickola Vandeberg. She shot 114 for eighth place.

Bigfork’s Melissa Paullsen finished tied for 10th with a 119.
