Bigfork lands 3 golfers in top 10 at Thompson Falls Invitational

THOMPSON FALLS — Bigfork had three individuals post top 10 scores at the Thompson Falls Invitational golf tournament on Saturday.

Colton Stopehill shot an 82 to finish third. He was six shots off the pace. Tommy Tirrell of Loyola, who carded a 76, was the medalist.

Bigfork’s Joseph Potkonjak carded an 83 to finish in a three-way tie for fourth place.

The Bigfork boys finished fourth with a 346 total. Thompson Falls was first, 339.

Bigfork’s Kali Meagher shot an 108 to place seventh. Sadie Crippen of Missoula Loyola was the medalist with an 81.

Loyola won the girls team title with a 386 score.
