LETTER: Trump popularity proves right wing is super gullible

Put a toxic jerk  on a large enough stage and his commentary quickly dissolves into farce. Would-be front running Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump certainly is the prime example these days.  

And yet he attracted a notably large and very enthusiastic following  prior to his foolish outburst regarding Arizona Sen. John McCain’s ordeal as a prisoner of war. It is disturbing to contemplate how pathetically gullible a significant portion of the right-wing populace has proven to be. —Peter Stoll, Kalispell
