A Columbia Falls resident called the Columbia Falls Police Department to ask for assistance opening up a venue for a benefit event she was putting on. A man was lying on the road on Eighth Avenue East North. Officers found he had been assaulted. The man first said his wife was with him when he was attacked, and then said his wife was the one who attacked him with a baseball bat. When police went to the address the man gave, they found the intoxicated wife. A taxi was called for her and she reportedly said she wasn’t sure whether she wanted to see her husband in the hospital or go home.

A bouncer at a bar on Central Avenue called the Whitefish Police Department to report a group of six people fighting in front of the bar. One of the men allegedly tried to come into the bar but was kicked out. He came back later threatening to fight the bouncer and was told to leave again. He complied.

A Barkley Lane party was too loud for neighbors, who called the cops to have it shut down. An officer asked the partygoers to be quieter. They agreed.
