LETTER: Sen. Tester, just who did you talk to in Montana about the Iran deal?

| August 20, 2015 9:00 PM

Open comment to Jon Tester, Democratic senator from Montana:

I take exception to what you say about the Kerry-Obama “nuclear deal” with Iran.

Mr. Tester, you wrote: “After reading the agreement, consulting with experts, and listening to Montanans, it’s clear this deal is the only option right now to stop Iran from developing a nuclear weapon. This agreement isn’t built on trust — it’s about holding Iran accountable through intrusive inspections and aggressive monitoring. If Iran violates this agreement, all options are on the table to ensure the security of America, Israel, and our allies.”

Can you catalogue the “Montanans” who subscribed to this deal? Based on WHAT information?

Where can I read EVERYTHING that you read? Must I have top secret clearance like you?

Senator, how about YOU share with us EVERYTHING you read? Or are many parts of this deal “top secret” as the press has been saying?

You cannot HONESTLY expect to “interview” ignorant people about something of which YOU are privy, while the rest of us are blinded by federal “top secret” systems!

Tell us, Mr. Tester, ALL the things that YOU have read — post ALL of it for US to review, so that when YOU interview US, you will not be talking to the ignoramuses you think we are. —Jim Greaves, Thompson Falls
