LETTER: Thanks for another fun-filled summer

Once again, we have organized a fun-filled summer in the Flathead.

I just wanted to congratulate and express my thanks for all the music and theater that we have enjoyed.

Whether it is “Picnic in the Park” with artists such as “Smart Alex” or “Don Lawrence’s Big Band,” O’Shaughnessy’s “Always Patsy Cline” or even 50 years of outstanding musical theater with the Thompsons at Bigfork Summer Playhouse — with their artists from all over the country — thank you!

How marvelous to have Betsy and Luke’s Alpine Project bring their friends from Broadway for their thrilling season in Whitefish — you will not see finer performances in London or New York. I’m sure they are already working on next season.

Our Glacier Symphony is a treasure — as are all the “behind the scene” support groups which make it all happen.
