Pluid, Eureka blow by St. Ignatius, 37-7

EUREKA — Brenton Pluid scored four touchdowns and Eureka blew out St. Ignatius, 37-7 Friday night in nonconference Class B footall action.

Pluid ran for a pair of first quarter scores, took back an interception in the second and caught a 24-yard pass from Austyn Sherwood to reach the end zone in the third. Matt Anderson added a four-yard scoring run and James Dunn returned another interception in the fourth to round out the scoring.

The Lions outgained the Bulldogs 326-202 and forced three turnovers. Sherwood went 11-for-16 through the air for 141 yards and added 58 more on the ground. Dunn led the way for the Lions defense with nine tackles, including one for loss.
