Golf: C-Falls boys win invitational
WEST GLACIER — Gabe Love shot an 80 and was one of five Columbia Falls golfers to post top 10 scores on Monday at the Columbia Falls Invitational at Glacier View Golf Course.
Columbia Falls won the team title with a 346 score, five shots ahead of runner-up Glacier JV.
Brandon Olsen of the Glacier JV was the medalist with a 9-over-par round of 79.
Browning dominated girls play, led by medalist Tiara Gilham, who shot an 85.
Browning had four top 10 scorers.
Shea Lefevre led the Wildkats, shooting a 99. That tied her for third place with Tessa Howe of the Glacier JV.
Columbia Falls will host another invitational on Wednesday, 10 a.m., at Mission Mountain Country Club in Ronan. Competing at that one-day event are: Browning, Columbia Falls, Frenchtown, Hamilton, Polson, Stevensville at Whitefish.
