The final installment of the “Humans and Wildlife Together in the 21st Century” speaker series will feature a pair of internationally known wolf experts discussing the history of the animals in Western Montana.

Douglas Smith of Yellowstone National Park and Robert Ream, a longtime professor with the University of Montana, will give a joint presentation on the history of wolf management in Yellowstone National Park and Northwest Montana.

The two wolf experts will discuss wolf biology and trace the wolf recovery in both areas though the past few decades. A question-and-answer session will follow their talk.

The presentation, a collaboration between Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks and Flathead Valley Community College, is free and open to the public.

The talk will begin at 7 p.m. at the Arts & Technology building on the college’s Kalispell campus.
