Donald 'Don' John Phillips, 86

Donald “Don” John Phillips, 86, of Kalispell, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family on Nov. 28, 2015.

Don was born March 3, 1929, in Rabey, Minnesota. He was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 768 and Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Don enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and horses.

Don had three children, Brenda, Susan and Carl, from his first marriage. In 1975, Don married Patricia Lofgren and inherited four additional children, Denise, Becky, Don and Brenda. He had numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, eight siblings and infant daughter.

At Don’s request there will be no services. His wishes were to be cremated and his ashes scattered to the wind.

The family would like to thank Home Options Hospice for their care and support.

Donations can be made in Don’s name to Bethlehem Lutheran Church or Home Options Hospice.
