New Glacier record: 2,352,699
A summer filled with fire and smoke didn’t stop Glacier National Park from breaking its all-time annual visitation record.
Through Nov. 30, 2,352,699 visitors had entered the park this year, beating 2014’s full-year record-setting number of 2,338,528 visitors.
A total of 19,505 visitors entered the park last month — a 24 percent increase from last November.
Overall, year-to-date attendance is up 1.7 percent over last year.
