Mildred Maxine Casper, 87

| December 5, 2015 6:00 AM

Mildred Maxine Casper “went to be with her heavenly Father” on Nov. 30, 2015. The last few weeks she was so anxious for her “mansion to be ready.”

She was born in Fort Worth, Texas, on Dec. 22, 1927, to L.B. and Lillian Starling.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years. Harold; her brother, Glenn; daughters Cheri, Jeannie and Mary; grandchildren Eli, Justin, Tiffany, JD and Janel; great-grandchildren Cory, Tyler, Xiah and Sadie, plus one on the way; and great-great-grandchildren Riley and Braden, plus one on the way; nieces Pam, Cindy, Glenda and Theresa; and numerous extended family.

She will be missed by family and the many friends from years of her and Harold pastoring churches in California, Oregon and Nevada.

Mildred loved to crochet and sew (at one time she sewed wet suits). She was also accomplished at the piano and accordion.

A celebration of her life will be at 1 p.m. Dec. 11 at Canvas Church at 255 Summit Ridge Drive in Kalispell.
