WRESTLING: Flathead wins three duals, improves to 4-0 on season

HELENA — Flathead moved to 4-0 in dual action on the first weekend of wrestling by going undefeated at the Helena Duals on Saturday.

Flathead beat Missoula Big Sky 36-31, Missoula Hellgate 45-33 and Bozeman 51-18 in the Capital City.

The Braves opened the season by dropping Butte 35-31 on Friday at Flathead High School.

Flathead has four wrestlers who are 4-0 thus far — defending state champion Trae Vasquez at 126, Payton Hume at 145, Tucker Nadeau at 160 and Payton Boyce at 205.

Flathead is back in action Thursday at Missoula Hellgate. The Mining City Duals follow in Butte on Friday and Saturday.
