WRESTLING: Sentinel dominates field at Polson Invitational

POLSON — Missoula Sentinel had six individual champions and three runners-up to dominate the mat action Saturday at the Polson Invitational wrestling tournament.

Sentinel totaled 265 points to finish well ahead of the field. Polson, 147, was second and Columbia Falls, 143, third.

Eureka, 115, was the other school to pass the century mark in scoring. The Lions were fourth.

Polson had two individual winners — Renee Pierre at 103 and Mike Corrigan at 205.

Columbia Falls, Brandon Thomas at 126, and Eureka, Josh Schmidt at 138, both had one.
