Workplace violence? That won't fly this time

| December 8, 2015 6:00 AM

The administration may have a bit of difficulty convincing even the mainstream media, who support virtually every foolish thing he says, that the latest Islamofascist terrorist attack in San Bernardino was workplace violence.

The attackers carried assault rifles and handguns with extra magazines in their assault clothing, brought pipe bombs with them, had 2,500 rounds of ammunition as well as another 12 or 15 pipe bombs in their home, had vast supplies of bomb-making equipment in their home including parts from radio-controlled cars (a favorite technique of al-Qaida to make IEDs), had communicated by phone and Internet with overseas terrorist groups, and the woman had pledged her loyalty to ISIS.

Knowing all this, Obama, in his press conference, said while not ruling out a terrorist act it might still be workplace violence. Really! I wonder what other evidence it would take for him to call it what it was ... an Islamic jihadi terrorist attack on United States soil. But then he would have to admit that his containment of ISIS isn’t working and that he must do more.

Interestingly, our attorney general, Loretta Lynch, who was touted as an impartial, apolitical and accomplished prosecutor by Republicans who voted for her confirmation, has promised Muslim activists that she would move aggressively against anyone using anti-Muslim rhetoric.  What about anti-Western rhetoric in mosques, Ms. Lynch?

Early information from an ongoing study of mosques and Muslim schools right here in the United States, many sponsored by our “good friend” Saudi Arabia and the Muslim Brotherhood conducted by the Center for Security Policy and carried out by undercover former counterterrorism and counterintelligence FBI, CIA and U.S. military reported that 75 of the first 100 investigated preached anti-Western insurrection and jihad with literature, videos and textbooks. How about this rhetoric, Ms. Lynch? Will Obama also order you to move aggressively against these hate mongers?

I wonder how many more attacks on the homeland it will take before even the liberals recognize we need a grownup in the White House. —P. David Myerowitz, Columbia Falls
