New book highlights humorous tales from daily law roundup

| December 9, 2015 9:21 PM

Daily Inter Lake readers already know that there is plenty to laugh about in the law roundup from Flathead County almost every day, and now they don’t have to wait for the morning paper to get a chuckle.

Volume 2 of “Only in Montana,” with all new content, is now available. This is the second compilation of humorous anecdotes from the “Law Enforcement Roundup” of the Daily Inter Lake, and it introduces readers to some of the best from the past.

Subtitled “The Birth of the Mirth,” this second volume actually highlights the origins of the witty, irreverent style that our police reporters have used for the daily police blotter since it was originated by Chery Sabol from 2000 to 2006. The first volume sold out, and this book is a limited edition, so don’t wait.

“Only in Montana: Volume 2” costs just $10, and is available at the Daily Inter Lake (727 East Idaho in Kalispell) from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The book is also in stock at the Book Shelf and the Hockaday Museum of Art in Kalispell.
