MISSOULA — Libby outscored Stevensville 18-12 in the fourth quarter to pull out a 51-49 boys basketball victory at the Tipoff Tournament at the University of Montana on Saturday.

Erik Lauer led the Loggers offense with 17 points. Ryggs Johnston and Jonny Cielak were next with 15 and 10 points, respectively.

Bryce Torrey scored 14 points for Stevensville.

On Friday, Libby dropped Ronan, 56-40.

MISSOULA — Columbia Falls held Anaconda to single-digit scoring in all four quarter en route to a lopsided victory.

Columbia Falls, up 17-5 after the first period, led 32-7 at intermission.

Alyson Gimbel topped Columbia Falls in scoring with 13 points. Kiara Burlage had nine.

MISSOULA — A strong fourth quarter allowed Bigfork to force overtime, but Hamilton prevailed in the end for the five-point win.

Bigfork outcored the Broncs 13-7 in the fourth to tie the game at 37-all. Hamilton dominated the extra session on the scoreboard, 9-4.

Lana Berg and Miranda Campbell shared scoring honors for Bigfork with 12 points each. Mattie McAnally added 10.

The Loggers trailed 32-19 at the break, but outscored Stevensville the rest of the way 29-9 to win by seven points.

Shannon Reny sparked the Libby offense with 15 points. Jayden Winslow had 12.

Mariah Hinson tossed in 14 for Stevensville.

Libby was 16 of 24 from the free-throw line to 6 of 21 for Stevensville.

Corvallis held Whitefish scoreless in that quarter to take a 14-10 lead at the half. The Blue Devils then outscored Whitefish 25-17 in the second half.

Taia Tully led Corvallis in scoring with 11 points.

Coral Shulz and Mariah Drown had seven points each to pace Whitefish.

The Pirates (1-1) gave up 17 points in the first quarter but allowed only 18 the rest of the way. The game was tied at 21 at the half.
