St. Ignatius police investigate shooting

St. Ignatius Police Chief Matthew Connelly said he could release few details about an incident where shots were fired near the Sinclair gas station and Allard General Store early Monday morning.

Connelly confirmed that there were shots fired around 2 a.m. and a suspect has been identified, but said he could not release further details until the investigation progresses.

“I have an officer working on it,” Connelly said.
