Myrtle Irene (Kennedy) Weisert, 92

Myrtle Irene (Kennedy) Weisert, 92, passed away on Dec. 14, 2015.

Myrtle was born Aug. 9, 1923, in Bemidji, Minnesota, the daughter of Lloyd and Birdie (Devereaux) Kennedy.

Myrtle loved to travel the world and telling her grandchildren stories of all the places she had been. She enjoyed gardening, baking and spending time with her loved ones.

On March 28, 1946, Myrtle married the love of her life, Adolph Weisert, and together they raised two children, Wallace and Carol.

Myrtle is survived by her son and his wife, Wallace and Sharon of Weisert, of Columbia Falls; seven grandchildren, Ken LaCoursiere of Fargo, North Dakota, Scott Weisert of Fergus Falls, Minnesota, Carmela Martin of Columbia Falls, Zachary and Tonya Weisert of Kalispell, Candice and Spencer Ivers of Kalispell, and Brandon and Teal Weisert of Kalispell, and numerous great-grandchildren.

Myrtle is preceded in death by her husband, Adolph Weisert; daughter, Carol Weisert; parents, Lloyd and Birdie Kennedy; sister, Loretta and Hubbard Palmer; and brother, Lloyd Hubbard.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 21, at Columbia Mortuary.
