WRESTLING: Polson wins pair of duals at host triangular

POLSON — Polson dominated dual matches against Libby and Whitefish at home Tuesday night in the final event of 2015.

The Pirates defeated Libby 53-15 before taking care of Whitefish, 63-6. The Bulldogs dropped Libby 42-24 in the evening’s other dual.

Polson’s Cameron Brown picked up a pair of pins at 132 pounds, as did Colton Cote at 152. Mateo Quinones (113) also wrestled and notched two victories.

Whitefish’s Konrad Zenke won twice at 170, earning the Bulldogs’ only win against the Pirates. The Greenchain picked up a pair of pins from Tim Carvey at 160.
