Disputes abound on Super Bowl Sunday
At least one New England Patriots fan wasn’t especially thrilled on Super Bowl Sunday. A Whitefish man reported a domestic dispute to the Whitefish Police Department, alleging that his “soon-to-be ex-girlfriend” who was dressed in a Patriots shirt had hit him and was throwing things at him. He locked himself in his truck and waited for his roommate to pick him up.
A Hungry Horse resident called the Flathead County Sheriff's Office to complain about a motor home blocking his driveway. He added there were “lots of teenagers in and out of the camper” and suspected suspicious activity.
A caller reported three men snowboarding off the back of their truck behind a building. Noting he was concerned that “it seems a very dangerous activity,” he added they then took a couch off the back of the truck and were sitting on it, watching each other take turns snowboarding.
A man called dispatch to say he recognized a man at a gas station from photos on the Internet and television. He said he “has been doing fraud all over town” and appeared to be “heavily on drugs.”
A Kalispell woman complained that her neighbors kept urinating on her porch. She said a deputy had come out in the past, spoken with her, and the neighbors overheard and have been “retaliating” ever since.
A man called the Kalispell Police Department and reported his girlfriend was “freaking out” on methadone and was wrecking the house.
A man’s wife reported he was missing Sunday night, stating a friend had picked him up that morning and he was not answering his phone. The responding officer determined the man was watching the Super Bowl football game with his friends and would call his wife.
An irate man was removed from a business on Financial Drive and threatened with trespass after becoming “upset about Medicaid.”
